A multinational systems integrator was tasked with a nationwide rollout, upgrading a secure operating system. Given the strict weekly and monthly deadlines to ensure a timely project completion, and the sensitive nature of the work, our customer needed a skilled and security cleared team of desktop engineers quickly in metro, regional and remote locations across Australia. The customer did not have that capability available at the time, which led to them seeking a trusted supplier to assist.
SOLUTION
Green Light’s extensive virtual bench and DISP accreditation means that we could immediately deploy a team in all the locations the client needed. These team members were qualified, experienced, and worked well together which led to the success of the project.
With different milestones for different states and sites, Green Light proactively met our client’s weekly and monthly deployment targets. By leveraging our in-house project management team, we met all deadlines and kept all key stakeholders updated with consistent and honest communication and provided weekly reporting and governance.
We created and provided training videos for new engineers that clearly stated the project’s goal, the requirements to achieve that goal, their role, and what to expect. This helped cut down induction times and allowed us to deploy confident engineers as quickly as we needed. So, as the project continued to grow, we could scale up and down around the country easily to meet their needs.
