We take Corporate Social Responsibility very seriously.
We accept complete responsibility for the impact of our actions in the community and on the environment. We aim to tackle the social issues dear to us and create a positive change in the world around us.
We believe in rewarding our employees on a job well done and take the time to celebrate achievements. We also hold regular group events to make sure we keep that family feel, even as we grow bigger as a company.
Generosity comes naturally within the team at Green Light – and we admire them for it. Together we have collected food, clothes, toys and blankets in aid of various charities and homeless shelters.
In the past few years, the Green Light team have participated in various sporting events such as the Australian Super Corporate Triathlon, Tough Mudder and City2Surf in Sydney to support charities such as Ted Cross, BeyondBlue, Australian Cancer Research Foundation and many other causes close to our hearts.
We are excited to give more. That is why every year we create a 12 month charity plan to commit to fundraising and supporting more charities, so watch this space!
Team Building Events
We believe that teamwork is imperative to our success. Every quarter we hold a company-wide social event to strengthen the bonds of the team. We have experienced the Amazing Race, Ocean Extreme around Sydney Harbour and learnt how to cook a seafood paella at the Sydney Fish Markets. Not forgetting our circus themed Christmas Party with juggle coaches!
Our largest event every year is our annual conference, where we strategise and take time to reflect on the previous 12 months. Whether we are on a beach in Asia or in the Whitsundays, we take the time to understand where our business is growing and what dynamics are affecting the business. Our conference consists of updates from the leadership team, workshops to plan the year ahead, key speakers to gain insights into the market and a great activity to end it all.
